Why we built SmartKidz
SmartKidz started at our kitchen table, usually after dinner, in the middle of another homework battle. I have kids of my own, and like every parent, I wanted them to feel clever, not stuck. But I could not sit beside them for every question, and the nights that were meant to teach them something often ended in frustration for all of us.
So we built a companion that could sit with them instead. Riley teaches at each child's pace and references the Australian Curriculum (ACARA), so learning fits around family life instead of taking it over. The change in our own kids was the thing that convinced me. The fights faded. They started enjoying it. Their confidence grew, and they kept up at school instead of falling behind.
That is really all I wanted as a parent, the feeling that my kids were in good hands. Riley looks after ours every day, and now they are here for yours too.
